A Margarita Made for Sunshine: The Elderflower Margarita

With the Hugo Spritz craze in full swing, we thought—why not give the classic Margarita a little Hugo twist? Meet the Elderflower Margarita, combining our smooth, well-balanced Don Levi Tequila Blanco with floral notes of elderflower liqueur and a zesty squeeze of lime. Garnish with mint and lime, or elderflower if you’re feeling extra fancy.

The Ingredients…

50ml Don Levi Tequila Blanco; Smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what you’d expect from us.

25ml Elderflower Liqueur; A nod to the Hugo Spritz; swapping the usual orange liqueur for floral elegance.

15–20ml Lime Juice; Roughly half a fresh lime, for that essential hint of zest. A Margarita isn’t a Margarita without it.

Mint & Lime; Adds a fresh, herbal aroma and a citrusy pop.

Now, the fun part:

1. Rim the Glass with Salt (optional).
Start by running a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Next, dip the rim into salt, coating it as little or as much as you like.

2. Add the Ingredients to the Shaker.
Pour Don Levi Blanco Tequila, fresh lime juice, and elderflower liqueur into a cocktail shaker. Do not forget to add ice.

3. Shake Well.
Shake for about 10 to 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold and frosty.

4. Strain and Serve.
Strain into a tumbler over ice.

5. Garnish.
Finally, garnish your Margarita with a fresh lime wedge and/or some mint leaves.

6. Enjoy! (Responsibly).
