How to Make a Rich and Spicy Mexican Mocha with Don Levi Tequila
Introducing our 1st Don Levi Original cocktail with the Mexican Mocha for those coffee and hot chocolate enthusiasts. The Mexican Mocha combines the smooth tasting notes of our Don Levi Blanco Tequila with rich espresso and the sweetness of the hot cholocate. All with an added kick from a dash (or two) of Tabasco. Perfect for those colder days or for those that love coffee based cocktails. Ready to brew and shake up a drink that’s both comforting and exciting? Here’s how to make your Mexican Mocha.
Ingredients:
50ml Don Levi Blanco Tequila: A crisp, smooth tequila made from 100% agave, providing a perfect base for any cocktail.
Double Espresso: The freshly brewed espresso adding a bold, rich flavour.
100ml Milk & 1 tbsp of Hot Chocolate: Creates richness, sweetness and a creamy texture to balance the boldness of the coffee and tequila.
Dash of Hot Sauce (Optional): A little extra heat for those who enjoy a spicy twist.
Coffee Beans: For garnish, adding a touch of elegance and a hint of coffee aroma.
How to Make the Perfect Mexican Mocha:
1. Prepare the Coffee and Hot Chocolate
Brew a double espresso and prepare the hot chocolate to your liking. You can either use pre-made hot chocolate or make it from scratch.
2. Add Tequila and Coffee
In a tumbler, pour 50ml Don Levi Blanco Tequila and the freshly brewed double espresso.
3. Pour the Hot Chocolate
Pour the prepared hot chocolate on top of the tequila and espresso mixture. The chocolate will add a creamy sweetness that complements the bitterness of the coffee.
4. Optional: Add Hot Sauce
For a little kick, add one or two dashes of hot sauce. This step is optional, but for those who like a bit of heat, but adds an extra layer of warmth and spice.
5. Garnish with Coffee Beans
Finish your Mexican Mocha with a garnish of three coffee beans.
