Introducing a Classic Cocktail with Don Levi: El Diablo

Welcome to making a Classic El Diablo cocktail with Don Levi Tequila
A crisp, refreshing cocktail perfect for the autumn and winter seasons. This one combines the rich tart taste of creme de cassis, the zest of lime juice, a dash of spice from ginger beer, and of course our award winning 100% agave Blanco Tequila.
Ingredients
50ml Don Levi Blanco Tequila: Our smooth, well balanced tequila is the perfect base for signature cocktails (but we are biased).
15ml Creme De Cassis: Adds a tart, deep blackcurrant flavour.
15ml Lime Juice: Adds a zestiness kick.
Ginger Beer: Adds a nice fiery, spicy kick.
Lime Wedge and Mint Leaves: Adds a citrusy and fresh aroma.
The Fun Part...
1. Combine the ingredients
Combine the Don Levi Blanco Tequila, lime juice, and creme de cassis in a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake well
Shake for around 15 seconds until the shaker is cold and slightly frosty.
3. Strain
Strain into a hi-ball glass over ice.
4. Top up with ginger beer
Add your choice of ginger beer to give a touch of fiery spice.
5. Garnish
Add a lime wedge and mint sprig for a zesty, fresh aroma.
