Welcome to a summer Mojito with a tequila twist; The Don Levi Apricot Tequilajito
Fancying a Mojito with a summer and tequila twist?
Then give the Don Levi Apricot Tequilajito a try. It takes the classic Mojito and swaps the white rum for Don Levi 100% agave blanco, adds a dash of zesty lime juice, a spoonful of apricot jam, a touch of sweet agave syrup, the classic soda and mint leaves, finished with an added rosemary garnish. So why not give this Don Levi original a go?
Ingredients:
50ml Don Levi Blanco: A well-balanced, smooth blanco for this summery cocktail.
20ml Lime Juice: Adds a bit of zest to this cocktail.
A tablespoon of Apricot Jam: Adds sweet, fruity tartness to this classic.
10ml Agave Syrup: Adds a slight caramel sweetness.
Soda Water: You can’t have a Mojito without soda.
Mint Leaves : Add a herbal flavour and aromatic touch.
Now to the fun part, making this cocktail...
1. Muddle
Add a rosemary sprig, 4–5 mint leaves, apricot jam and lime juice to a highball or tumbler and muddle.
2. Add the Remaining Ingredients and Ice
Add the Don Levi Blanco, agave syrup and ice.
3. Top with Soda and Stir Gently
Top up the glass with soda and stir gently.
4. Garnish
Garnish the cocktail with a mint sprig to add a herbal, aromatic touch.
